Our Philosopy

We believe that all children deserve quality child care. Quality care is achieved when care is provided by knowledgeable, committed, sensitive and trained caregivers in an environment that is designed to foster children's well being, development and abilities. The care we strive to provide is child-centered, it equally recognizes the needs of parents and supports them in their child-rearing efforts through mutual respect and effective and informative communication.

We believe that quality child care occurs when staff focuses on who the child is and what he or she needs from the learning environment to thrive rather than provide things to keep the child occupied. Our program is specially designed to meet the unique needs and learning style of 3 to 5 year old children. “Free Play” time is balanced with two structured periods which give the children experience with large group listening and social skills that will be required later in “real school”. We seek to develop each child's ability to effectively communicate in the language of instruction, English, while respecting the importance of the child's home language, Chinese. This developmentally appropriate program ensures that physical and emotional health is fostered and that all the children in our school are given every opportunity to develop the confidence and skills they need to be accepted by their peers and society.
